At the top level of iRacing esport championships, Open-Wheel racing has lagged in interest among competitors. During 2023, the Turn Racing Grand Prix iRacing Series sought to answer this, but it failed to capture the audience’s interest. In 2024, they abandoned the iR01 and gained back the IndyCar license to run an official IndyCar iRacing Series. But during that brief window, I developed a concept for visually improving the iR01.
